  11. - To jump to any other page in your script while running, you may 
  12. enter the number of page you want to go to on the keyboard followed 
  13. by enter or return.
  14.  
  15. ex: To go to page 19, simply press 19 and <enter>.

  17. - We decided to put a small dot in place of the @ letter, to make
  18. it easier to set up "text bullets".
  19.  
  20. - 6 new page transitions and 9 new text transitions were added,
  21. all using the "ease in" technique.

  23. - On the first font disk, we added a sample script which shows all
  24. the different fonts available in Scala. Also, we added a number
  25. of "pictograms"; small symbols with trains, food and so forth. 
  26. Finally, we added 2 types of arrows in 8 different directions, and 
  27. 35 different palettes which all work with all the Scala
  28. Backgrounds.

  31. Some known quirks:

  34. - Using a different front color on a symbol than 1 (white) 
  35. will make the symbol disappear while using a fly-on wipe. 
  36. There are some solutions to this inconvenience: 
  37.  
  38. a)Use color 1 for the symbol if you want to use a fly-on effect
  39. b)Use a wipe effect instead
  40. c)Save it in DPaint as a regular multi-color brush.
  41.  
  42. - Trying to use damaged IFF files (BAD FORM) will currently cause 
  43. a system crash. If you have problems with a particular file, try 
  44. loading and saving it again in your favourite paint package.
  45.  
  46. - While starting Scala from the CLI, you must be in the Scala
  47. directory - or Scala will not be able to find it's dear and
  48. necessary companion, ScalaPlayer. Use the CD command for this.
  49.  
  50. - The 12 point GoudyB mentioned in the manual (and used in our
  51. sample font script) did unfortunately not make it to the master 
  52. disk.
  53.  
  54. - Using interactive buttons under WB 2.0 will not behave properly,
  55. due to a bug in Kickstart 2.0. You will have to click below the
  56. buttons in order to hit them. We hope Commodore will fix this
  57. before the release of the final 2.0 version.
